Hi there, I'm Michael De Luca!
I'm a coffee expert and aficionado. I've spent my entire life surrounded by this amazing beverage, and I'm excited to share my experiences with you through this personal blog.
My relationship with coffee goes back as far as I can remember. I grew up in Florence, Italy, where coffee is an essential part of the culture. My parents owned a small coffee shop in the city center, and I spent countless hours there as a child, watching and learning from expert coffee roasters & baristas.
It was in this coffee shop where I had my first taste of espresso. I was only six years old, and I remember being fascinated by the process of making this small, concentrated shot of coffee. From that moment on, I knew that coffee was going to be a big part of my life.
As I grew older, I started to learn more and more about coffee. I would spend hours reading books and articles about the different types of beans, roasts, and brewing methods. I even started experimenting with my own coffee creations, trying out new recipes and perfecting my technique.
Over the years, I've continued to explore the world of coffee. I've traveled to different countries to learn about their coffee cultures and taste their unique blends. One of the things I love most about coffee is its ability to bring people together. Whether it's over a morning cup of coffee with friends, or at a coffee shop with strangers, coffee has a way of creating connections and fostering community.
That's why I'm so excited to start this blog. I want to share my love of coffee with others and create a space where coffee enthusiasts can come together to learn, discuss, and share their experiences.
